Troika is a London-based artist collective founded by Eva Rucki, Conny Freyer and Sebastien Noel in 2003. Their practice is concerned with perception, experiences of space, and the influence of technology on humanity. Their collective work challenges preconceived ideas of knowledge and control, such as rational thinking and scientific methodology. They have used various unexpected media in their work, such as light, water, and electricity, to experiment with their ideas and thought processes.
Troika's drawings, sculptures, and installations can be found in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum London, The Art Institute of Chicago, MoMA New York and the Israel Museum and in public spaces including British Airways Terminal 5 and ION Orchard, Singapore. In 2014 Troika was selected to present their work ‘Dark Matter’ at Unlimited, Art Basel.
